Join us as soon as possible at our headquarters in Idstein as a Manager Retail Buying (m/f/d).
The story begins
- Own the end-to-end buying process, including budget and margin responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic plans for product categories and seasonal collections
- Prepare and present retail concepts and modules
- Manage and approve markdowns across our own retail stores
- Monitor sales and inventory to drive product performance and optimize stock levels
- Participate in key seasonal milestone meetings to align on strategy and execution
- Conduct regular store visits and assortment analyses to continuously improve the product offering
- Collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Order Book Management, Design, and Product teams
- Act as a key interface between Retail Area Management and Visual Merchandising
- Lead independent projects to further evolve our retail strategy
- Oversee bad bestseller management to refine our product mix
- Compile and present weekly performance reports to senior leadership
Your proven path
- At least 3 years of experience in retail buying or category management, ideally in a fast-paced or comparable environment
- Strong expertise in assortment management, merchandising, and retail systems
- Solid analytical skills with a focus on performance metrics and data-driven decisions
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams
- A proactive mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
