Join us as soon as possible at our headquarters in Idstein as a Senior GL Accountant (m/w/d).
The story begins
- Managing VAT compliance for Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and the OSS procedure
- Performing VAT reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns and supporting the VAT reporting process
- Submitting EC Sales Lists (ZM) and statistical reports
- Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Contributing to finance projects and working closely with IT on changes to tax regulations
- Coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders
Your proven path
- Successfully completed commercial training with a focus on accounting or tax law, or qualification as a tax clerk
- At least 5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a tax consultancy firm
- Strong affinity for tax topics, especially VAT
- Proficiency in accounting software, ideally SAP S/4HANA
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- English skills are an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a quick grasp of new topics
- Experience in international corporate structures is a plus
- Independent, structured working style with a high level of reliability, commitment, and initiative
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
